​Welcome to Acrylic and Ink Studio. Renee Fox is an artist that resides in Folly Beach, SC. In her home studio she creates original artwork that is inspired by her travels and surroundings. Art has always been a passion of Renee’s starting at a young age. She has a BFA from the University of Georgia in Art Education with a concentration in sculpture and ceramics. She taught art to students for over a decade before embarking on this venture.  

Renee’s work is based on the subconscious and experimentation. She layers paint and colors onto surfaces based on her emotions. Often while painting, Renee is taken to locations she has traveled, remembering the colors and surroundings in those places to draw inspiration. She also teaches and creates ceramics in her free time.
